What are Our Beliefs?

We believe in that the Rhema (spoken word) and Logos (written word) of God reveals the way to spiritual and natural prosperity, salvation, and eternal life. It is the only authority for faith, morals, doctrine and lifestyle.

For more information, see the following scriptural references.
II Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 6:1-2 & Acts 17:11

God

There is one God that is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent. At His discretion, He has the dunamus (physical) and exousia (authoritative) power to manifest Himself in any way He desires; primarily by theophanis in the Old Testament, Jesus Christ and the His Holy Spirit in the New Testament.

God is a spirit and He is holy. Because He is a spirit and is holy, He is thus a Holy Spirit that has individuality, personality and rationality. He is the eternally existing one that is the immutable Father of all, who is above all, and lives through all who are believers.

He can not be defined or simplified into Trinitarian or Oneness doctrines. He is simply God.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God actively working in our lives. He uses repented, purified and willing believers as His temple and vessels to carry out His will in the earth. He intercedes, brings conviction, comforts, reveals His will, gives power, spiritual gifts, and much more.

The Holy Spirit describes and gives man insight into who God is, what God is, the manner in which God operates, and how God wants us to live.

Jesus

Jesus is completely 100% God and 100% Man. He is the physical manifestation of God, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. In Him dwells the Godhead bodily and by no other name, title, or authority can man be saved. Being sinless He was the perfect and last sacrifice which gave man the right to the Tree of Life. He also restored man back to God by closing the gap and ripping the veil that we may enter the holy of holies. It is by the shedding of His blood that men have remission of sins. From a natural perspective He is unequivocally not the Father, but the Son.

Salvation

Salvation is a free gift offered by God to man because of His grace, mercy, and love towards us. Mankind can only receive this gift through faith. This is completely aside from human works. For mankind, salvation is the saving work of God from total destruction. For a person to receive salvation he/she must first confess (action) and believe (faith) that Jesus Christ is Lord and that Jesus is raised from the dead.

We believe that salvation is free to all that ask for it. Now if one is a true believer in Christ there will be evidence of progression and maturity in their natural and spiritual lives that depicts a believer following/meeting God’s commandments, and requirements in love. Therefore, we believe salvation is a process.

The salvation process belief is as follows:

1. An individual must confess and believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord and that God has raised Him from the dead.

2. An individual must be born of the water (baptism in water) and the spirit (baptism of the Holy Spirit).

3. An individual must live a holy and purified lifestyle that is acceptable unto God.

Baptism

Baptism is an individual’s opportunity to participate in the likeness of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is God’s physical and spiritual terms of surrendering and is preceded by faith and repentance.

Baptism is the more than outward sign that a person is a follower of Christ. It is the external washing with water and the internal cleansing of sin by God through faith. It is during baptism that an individual accepts the blood of Christ being applied to their life for the remission of sins.

Baptism is a commandment from Jesus Christ. In one of the three accounts of the Great Commission Jesus give the command to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. We believe that this commandment is fulfilled when we baptize in the name of Jesus Christ because there is no other name given among men whereby which we can be saved. The belief in or name of the father and/or Holy Spirit does not save, only the name of Jesus Christ.

Scripture is given under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. There is no error or discrepancies in the Word of God. Therefore, we believe both Acts 2:38 and Matt 28:19 are in agreement and they do not invalidate each other. There is but one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism(Formula).

The Infilling of the Holy Spirit:

Learning how to be filled (controlled and empowered) by the Holy Spirit by faith can be the most important discovery of your Christian life. The Infilling of the Holy Spirit is an experience that occurs only after one has been born again. The Holy Ghost is given to the believer for guidance, comfort, and power.

Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.” Mark 16:17 Speaking with new tongues is one of the results of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. In fact, when a person received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in the New Testament Church, the experience was accompanied by speaking in tongues. “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:4

“ And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.” Acts 10:45, 47
A false infilling of Holy Spirit will not yield fruit. Many claim to be filled weekly, but if there is no desire to serve God and there is no fruit, is this from God? If we are truly receiving the power from the Holy Spirit, it will point us to service and truth. Look at these two passages from John when Jesus foretold of the power of the Holy Spirit, He also gave important truths as to what we can expect. The Spirit is the Spirit of truth. The Spirit will guide you into truth. The Spirit will point you to Christ. The Spirit will glorify Christ. There may be a lot of emotions, but my will and my fulfillment is not the purpose of the power of the Holy Spirit. The purpose is to glorify Jesus Christ and to testify to His truth and His authority. When someone is filled by the Spirit, they will recognize that this blessing is not for them alone, but to equip and empower them to do will of God. The apostles were filled and immediately had the power to preach and the boldness to stand before their enemies and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER

1. A sustained, effective and fervent ministry of prevailing prayer on behalf of those who need the Lord’s intervention.

2. Regular seasons of sacrifice and travailing through fasting, prayer and consecration, to pull down the strongholds of the enemy and to wrought deliverance for captives held in bondage.

DEMONSTRATION OF THE HOLY GHOST

1. Preaching, promoting, praying and professing the necessity of the infilling of the Holy Ghost while teaching the importance speaking in other tongues as GOD gives the individual utterance
